It only takes a few minutes on the road that weaves around this national natural landmark to know why they call it the Garden of the Gods. There is something so out-of-this-world about a 300-foot red sandstone rock formation that seemingly sprouts out of nowhere and stretches to the sky, let alone a whole garden of them. It is incredible! If you are planning a trip anywhere close to Colorado Springs you will want to add this to your list because you wont see something like this anywhere else.
